Entry Requirement:

  • For entry to Monash University, you must meet the minimum English language requirements except for Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine which requires higher English requirement. You can demonstrate your English language proficiency through one of the following: studying English at Year 12 or equivalent studying at an institution where English is the language of instruction English Proficiency Tests Monash English Bridging. If you've completed several measures of English proficiency over a period of time, the highest valid measure will be accepted as long as it's been taken within the required time limitations. Time limits may apply to the evidence you provide to demonstrate your English language proficiency.
Overview

If your science degree sparked a desire to dig deeper into a topic, this honours degree is your chance to pursue your passion.

The extra year includes a research thesis and additional units that will help you further develop your analytical and research skills, while building discipline-specific knowledge in your chosen field of expertise.

You'll participate in seminars, give oral presentations of your research and prepare a thesis – activities that can be stepping stones towards higher research qualifications in science, such as the Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
