Entry Requirement:

  • Minimum Requirements A Master’s Degree or its equivalent in the related field* *Note Applicants having a Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA of 3.7 and above can apply directly for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

This is a pure research programme and there are no course modules for this programme. Candidates are required to attend and pass Research Methodology course within the first two semesters of candidature and all the graduation requirements before being conferred the Degree. The medium of thesis is in Malay or English, but under special circumstances, the Senate may approve the use of a language other than Bahasa Malaysia or English for the thesis concerned.

The candidates will carry out focused research in their area of specialization, which is of immediate relevance to local interest. They will be alert to the challenges faced in the international arena through the seminars, conferences and many more.
