The Doctor Of Philosophy (Ph.D)(Economics And Administration) programme is fully by research in the fields of study in economics, development studies, public administration, politics and applied statistics. The main objective of the programme is to develop skills of students in designing original research and conducting research independently. In the process, students learn to synthesise and evaluate critically scholarly literature, communicate research findings effectively to the broader scientific community and develop a sense of professional ethics in research. Students are also trained to publish in scholarly journals and present their research findings at international forums. Through the programme, students are able to advance their knowledge in the selected field of specialization, and to explore and extend the boundaries of knowledge through research.
