The Public Administration programme synergies the expertise in political science and public administration of the faculty to develop an interdisciplinary approach in training students to address the challenges of governance, public administration and international relations in the national and regional context. The programme focuses on the fundamental principles, practices and techniques of organizational management related to public institutions. It attempts to expose students to relevant theories, and their applications in multidisciplinary fields such as political science, public administration, political economy, human resources management, international relations and urban management. The emphasis is on linking theory to research, problem solving skills, as well as professional analysis of a wide range of issues in the areas of policy analysis, public sector management, urban management and development.
