Entry Requirement:

  • For entry to Monash University, you must meet the minimum English language requirements except for Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine which requires higher English requirement. You can demonstrate your English language proficiency through one of the following: studying English at Year 12 or equivalent studying at an institution where English is the language of instruction English Proficiency Tests Monash English Bridging. If you've completed several measures of English proficiency over a period of time, the highest valid measure will be accepted as long as it's been taken within the required time limitations. Time limits may apply to the evidence you provide to demonstrate your English language proficiency.
Overview

This PhD program consists of an extensive, independent research project in your discipline of choice, supported by a minimum of two academic supervisors throughout your candidature. Your study will result in a research thesis, which makes a valuable contribution to the current body of knowledge on your chosen topic.

As a graduate research student at Monash, you’ll explore your discipline on an advanced level and learn how to apply your new knowledge to real problems. You’ll have access to world-class research facilities and equipment, on top of great academic support, so that you too can devise innovative solutions to global challenges.
